Every year, from the start of summer, the Lubéron and more broadly the Vaucluse enter a period of celebration which gives pride of place to culture, all cultures. The list is not exhaustive but it is appropriate to name the Festival Yeah! in Lourmarin, the Green Fest in Avignon, Vaison danses in Vaison-la-Romaine, the Kolor festival in Carpentras, the Positiv festival and the Chorégies in Orange, the summer evening festival in Gordes, and of course, the famous festival of Avignon, known all over the world. Fréjus and the Var are not to be outdone with also some cultural events not to be missed.
